Yo no lo he escuchado todavía pero con solo un par de temas que he puesto por encima y viendo el setlist me ha alegrao la tarde. Me había yo quedado con la espina clavada del BS10.

A mí el BS10 me gusta mucho, es uno de mis favoritos de la serie... Me flipa la última cara, con New Morning y Time Passes Slowly. Por qué esa espina clavada?
Del 68 no hicieron Anniversary Collection, verdad? Una pena, porque el último BS a mí sí me dejó frío. Si los tres discos fuesen como el primero, el de sesiones de John Wesley Harding, otro gallo hubiese cantado. La versión lenta de As I Went Out One Morning es de lo mejor que han dado los Bootleg Series.
La espina clavada era precisamente porque el New Morning me gusta mucho y esperaba más mandanga en forma de outtakes y algún de esos que se escapan en la configuración final de los discos. Vamos, justo lo que acaba de llegar.
A mi el último me decepcionó mucho toda la parte de Cash y me flipó la que tú comentas aunque los arreglos del As I Went Out One Morning que entraron en el John Wesley Harding los veo insuperables (bueno, todo esto creo que ya lo hablamos en su momento).

Wider release for the ‘copyright collection’ 3CD set
On 4 December this year, Sony ‘released’ 50th Anniversary Collection: 1970a Bob Dylancollection that included all the outtakes from the ‘New Morning’ and ‘Self Portrait’ sessions that were not already available on The Bootleg Series Vol. 10: Another Self Portraitalong with a legendary session with George Harrison.
This was put out in extremely limited quantities (in Europe only) and these kind of releases have happened for the last eight years and have become known as the ‘Copyright Collection’ series. Due to fan demand this 1970 set is being made available in February for a full commercial release (albeit it’s still limited to some degree).
These are all the unreleased recordings from 1970, effectively. There are 74 tracks in total and nine of those feature George Harrison. In fact this commercial version includes two extra tracks that were “inadvertently left off the original release”.
This three-CD set will be an eight-panel digi-pak and features notes by Michael Simmons. This is being released physically and for download only. It won’t be available via streaming.

Esta mañana me ha llegado esto. Aquí en UK lo han retrasado casi un mes!
A ver si el fin-de le doy un repaso...
a mi me llegó el fin de semana pasado. es un complemento al bootleg 10 interesante para ver cómo evolucionaron las canciones de esa época. el primer disco se me hizo un poco cuesta arriba (las versiones del cedele no se habían publicado hasta ahora por algo, supongo) pero según fuí llegando al tercero la cosa me fue gustando más. de todas formas tengo que darle más vueltas.
Yo de momento voy poco a poco. He escuchado el disco 1 un par de veces, y al segundo le he dado una vuelta, esta mañana.
Me supo a poco la versión de Tom Paxton. apenas sí dura medio minuto! Me gusta mucho, MUCHO, la versión de Dion. Tiene un rollo épico cojonudo.
Buah. Tengo por ahí algo medio escrito sobre discos imprescindibles que no publicados hasta tropecientos años después y Dion es uno de los protagonistas. A ver cuando lo acabo.
Se cumplen 30 años del lanzamientos del single de Series of Dreams. Temarraco. La portada del single (creo que sale en la contraportada de un LP o en un inserto pero me falla la memoria) nuestra a un Dylan de paseo por los tejados y a mi siempre me pareció que era una foto tomada en España pero nunca lo pude averiguar. Algún biógrafo o experto en tejas en la sala?
